Testing & Research Lab
Mannvit has operated a testing and research laboratory since 1993, and employs a staff of highly skilled experts and technicians in the fields of concrete, aggregate, geological and geotechnical engineering.

The laboratory’s testing and research capacity has expanded from year-to-year, as has the diversity of services offered. From the beginning, the lab’s primary focus has been to study the strength and durability of construction and road building materials. By continuously expanding the capabilities, the lab is equipped to carry out destructive steel tests and gas and water analysis as well as to study the durability of aggregates, rocks, soil, concrete, and cement samples.
Mannvit’s laboratory works in cooperation with international parties. Project examples include conducting research on Alkali Aggregate Reactions (AAR) in concrete to develop new testing methods. These projects are operated in close coordination with a group of international experts in AAR.
In addition to a range of testing, the laboratory offers expert assessments and consulting in interpretation of test results, as well as evaluating whether materials fulfill project requirements. Other services include providing assistance in preparation and implementation of factory production control.
Mannvit has over 20 years of experience in the areas of rock and soil mechanics testing. The laboratory employs a staff of highly-skilled experts and technicians in the field of concrete, aggregate, geological and geotechnical engineering.
