Technical consultancy to the Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility for Eastern Africa, which supports surface research and drilling in first stages of geothermal projects. Eligible countries to the fund are; Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Somalia and Zambia.
The Facility is funded by German and international development banks, and its role is to mitigate risk in the first stages of geothermal projects. For more information on the GRMF click here.
