Atlantsolia - Filling Stations, Storage Depot and Landing Jetty
Atlantsolia Petroleum Retail and Distribution Company was founded in 2002 and is currently operating 19 self-service filling stations (2014) at various locations in Iceland along with a storage and distribution depot and landing jetty. The task was a series of projects where Mannvit was responsible for the development, design, construction and maintenance of the company's self-service filling stations and the storage/distribution depot. 16 of the self-service filling stations are located in southwest Iceland, while two of the stations are in north Iceland and one in east Iceland. The projects were carried out in the period 2003 -2013.

Mannvit was responsible for all engineering design along with Procurement, Construction supervision, project control, various technical services and HSE.

First liter soldAtlantsolia‘s first oil cargo company came from the Norwegian oil company Statoil in July 2003. The first cargo consisted of diesel oil and marine diesel oil. The first self service filling station of the company was opened December 1st in Kópavogur. The first liters of diesel were sold on December 1, 2003 and the first petrol liters on January 8, 2004.
