GRMF HEAT Kick-off
The Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility (GRMF) has a new funding programme by the African Union Commission’s Regional Geothermal Coordination Unit (RGCU) focusing on geothermal direct use, called GRMF HEAT. The programme will provide funding for Surface Studies and Infrastructure Upgrades.
The Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility for Eastern Africa Oversight Committee decided to expand the facility to include the promotion of geothermal direct use. For this purpose, the new GRMF HEAT funding programme was introduced.
