GRMF East Africa Geothermal Direct Use Webinar

The Geothermal Risk Mitigation Facility (GRMF) and the African Union Commission’s (AUC) Regional Geothermal Coordination Unit (RGCU) will host a market sounding webinar on geothermal direct use on May 5th 2022, at 2 p.m. East African Time.

The webinar aims to capture the current and future market situation for direct use projects in East Africa to set up a funding programme. The webinar will include presentations on best practice, as well as pitches for planned geothermal direct use projects in East Africa.

RGCU encourages developers that are already involved in any form of geothermal direct use development to submit a project pitch. Descriptions of already completed projects, planned projects or project ideas can be submitted. Selected project pitches will be selected by the GRMF to present during the webinar. The deadline for the submission of project pitches is April 21st 2022.
