
Framework contract for Keflavik airport
Mannvit has signed a framework agreement with Isavia on design and consulting at Keflavik Airport. Major projects are being planned at Isavia in the coming years. The first task of the framework agreement is set to begin in the coming weeks, with a 25-30 thousand square meter expansion of the existing terminal. According to Isavia, buildings in the first phase of construction will be put into operation in stages from 2019 to 2021 if plans go ahead as scheduled. Mannvit will take care of all architectural designs in cooperation with their partner Corgan Architects. It is worth noting that Isavia placed high demands on the qualifications and experience of advisors in all areas of the agreement. Mannvit will also provide automation and controls engineering, along with design of all fuel systems. The total investment of the project is about 15 billion krónur (ISK).
