Mannvit employs a team of highly experienced specialists providing a wide range of professional services relating to environmental affairs for power delivery. Drawn from a variety of disciplines, the team includes, geologists, geographers, and environmental engineers who work collaboratively with power systems engineers.

Mannvit offers over 40 years of experience in power transmission and distribution and played a leading role in much of Iceland's energy infrastructure as well as.  The company has also worked in numerous countries abroad including Europe, South America, Africa and Greenland. 

Recent projects:

• Environmental Impact Assessment for the construction of two, 220-kV overhead transmission lines in NE-Iceland (Krafla-Bakki, 2x60 km).
• Environmental Impact Assessment for the construction of one, 220-kV overhead transmission lines in N-Iceland (Blanda-Akureyri, 105 km).
