Project:  Norðfjörður road tunnel, East Iceland

Mannvit services:  EIA, design of roads and utilities. Design and rock support evaluation for 7.8 km long double lane road tunnel between Eskifjörður and Norðfjörður.  Tender documents and final design.

Size:  About 4 km of 150 m2 headrace tunnel.

Project:  Karahnjukar Hydroelectric Power Plant, East Iceland
Size:  A total of about 5 km of tunnels and caverns, including access tunnel, cable tunnel, tailrace tunnel, powerhouse and transformer hall caverns and two over 400 m long vertical shafts
