Founded in 1963, Mannvit has played a leading role in much of Iceland's industrial development. Over the past five decades, the company has completed projects ranging from aluminum smelters to the power plants that supply them with energy. In addition to the company's domestic industry projects, Mannvit has also strategically grown its operations in industry to include projects in the U.K., Europe and Scandinavia. 

The company's success lies in its multi-disciplinary approach, drawing on the expertise of the entire Mannvit group of companies, which includes HRV Engineering (EPCM provider), Vatnaskil Consulting Engineers and others, to deliver effective, economical solutions.
