Well siting and well design
In order to find the most viable drill site for a particular area, all available information regarding geology, structure, geophysics, flow paths, temperature and surface conditions are interpreted and evaluated by an interdisciplinary team at Mannvit.  Exploration wells are always required to confirm surveys conducted on the surface.

In well design, it is important to have all assumptions readily available regarding geology, structure and expected temperature distribution with detailed information regarding the encountered layers in the individual well.  In sizing the well, it is also important to include the production estimates and, if applicable, pump size.

Project example:
As part of the geothermal energy evaluation project in Hungary, Mannvit provided PannErgy with integrated interpretation of all geological (e.g. lithology and temperature well logs) and geophysical data (e.g. seismic and AMT/MT profiles) in Southwest Hungary, resulting in the siting of the first successful exploratory well.
