Geochemical sampling and analysis, geothermometry, assessment of corrosion and scaling
Geochemical analysis of fluids from surface manifestations or from wells provides valuable information about the nature of the geothermal system.

Obtaining representative samples from springs and wells requires specific instruments as well as experience, both of which Mannvit possesses. Some chemical components must be analyzed at the site, but most need to be analyzed at an appropriate local laboratory. The sample treatment on site depends on the chemical components which will be analyzed and methods used.  

Project example:
In 2009, Mannvit performed sampling and analysis of the geothermal fluid from well Sztl-PE-01 in Hungary. The analysis was part of the development project further described on geothermal development in Hungary.
