Mannvit provides extensive services in the planning and designing of public utilities, including wastewater systems, heating utilities and waterworks. Our specialists have decades of experience in all areas of public utilities including, designing piping systems, mechanical design, systems analysis, flow calculations and measurements.
In association with the public sector as well as the private, Mannvit has worked on numerous projects of all sizes in the field of water and geothermal hot water supply including, water catchments, designing supply mains, distribution systems and pumping stations. Additionally, company specialists have conducted preliminary surveys for geothermal utilities, which is a prerequisite for all hot-water exploration in Iceland.
In the field of wastewater systems, Mannvit has been involved in numerous projects in association with public and private sectors. Project details include, designing sewage systems, outfalls, wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants, storm water management and treatment, system simulations, renovation of sewer systems and experiments with natural treatment systems.
