Verne Holdings Data Center
The design of the data storage center for Verne Holdings located at the old Navy base near the Keflavík airport is well on its way. Mannvit provided the engineering design for the data center as well as testing and equipment installation.
Data storage centers are highly power intensive and local power companies have declared their readiness to provide the electricity needed - which could be as much as 50MW.
Investment contracts have been drawn to include the government of Iceland, which is in the final stages.
